Obok semafora wyjazdowego stoi wskaźnik B informujący o odległości do następnego przejazdu kolejowego. Fotografia zrobiona w przededniu rocznicy wyboru Benedykta XVI i dzień po jego urodzinach. Trasa Wien – Linz – Neumarkt-Kallham – Mühldof – München. Linia jest okolo 40 km krótsza od powszechnie uzywanej przez Salzburg, ale ze względu na jednotorowość i brak elektryfikacji posiada obecnie tylko ruch regionalny oraz towarowy. W przeszłości przed kilka lat jeździł tutaj „Orient Express”

25 october 2008 - Pociąg do Eibsee: wagony 213 i 211 pchane przez jednostkę 309 na szlaku między przystankami Hausbergbahn i Alpspitzbahn na Zugspitzbahn, wąskotorowej (1000 mm), zębatej kolei z Garmisch-Partenkirchen na najwyższy szczyt Niemiec, Zugspitze. Chociaż wagon silnikowy 309 jest wyposażony w zębatkę, ten skład nie jest dopuszczony do ruchu na górskim odcinku trasy i kursuje tylko do stacji Eibsee. Normalnotorowa linia po prawej to Auserfernbahn z Garmisch-Partenkirchen do Kempten przez terytorium Austrii. Proszę dodać do bazy pojazdów SIG ABeh 4/4

25 october 2008 - This Zugspitzbahn train has just departed from Garmisch-Partenkirchen and it's on its way towards Zugspitze. Built in 2006 by Stadler in Bussnag (Switzerland) the EMU #14 is one of the 4 newest vehicles of Zugspitzbahn, a 1000 mm rack railway connecting winter resort Garmisch-Partnekirchen with Zugspitze, the tallest mountain in Germany. There are ski holders on the lower left side of the vehicle. The doors in front and rear of the unit are emergency exits in case an evacuation is necessary in the 4466 m long tunnel leading to the end station Zugspitzplatt - this is a safety feature following the 2000 Kaprun disaster. The normal gauge track on the left is Auserfernbahn, railway line from Garmisch-Partenkirchen to Kempten in Allgäu passing through the territory of Tirol, Austria. It is electrified only to station Reutte in Tirol.
