Curiosity of photo is it was taken at Budapest Kőbánya-Hízlaló abandoned station, where an M61-class loco has never been before.
19 june 2010 - M62 at Budapest-Rákos station. The engine is waiting for shunting, to help electric locos to move through the station during power outage.
2 june 2010 - The photo depicts a freight train with Škoda 47E4 close to Budapest-Ferencváros Station.

21 may 2010 - The GYSEV/Raaberbahn "Csíksomlyó Expressz" with Széchenyi-Taurus at Budapest Keleti Railway Station.
This engine has been painted for the 150th anniversary of Széchenyi István's (famous Hungarian historical person) death.
This is the another Pentecostal special train what carrying passengers from Hungary to Transylvania.
The 2050 km long route will be: Sopron – Budapest – Madéfalva (Siculeni) – Budapest – Sopron.
21 may 2010 - The special train "Székely Gyors" (Szekler fast train) with MÁV-NOHAB 017 is waiting for departure at Budapest Keleti Railway Station. The four day trip to Transylvania launched this morning, the destination is Madéfalva (Siculeni).
This is one of the two special trains what carrying passengers from Hungary to Transylvania for the the Pentecostal religious event.

This engine has been painted for the 200th anniversary of Joseph Haydn's death.
10 april 2010 - The M61 010 under maintainance at Budapest-Keleti engine shed.
After nearly 9 years of work, the loco has got the official running license. :)
10 april 2010 - The photo depicts János Kádár`s ( http://pl.wikipedia.org/wiki/J%C3%A1nos_K%C3%A1d%C3%A1r ) special train at Budapest-Keleti engine shed.
The train nickname is "Silver Arrow", and built by GANZ and RÁBA factories in 1968.
János Kádár was afraid of flying, therefore the train was built for his special request.
For security reasons the train is equipped with thick glass, chassis and floors.
Additional features: kitchen, meeting room for 16 persons, sound-proofing, air conditioning, radio-room , telephone-network on the train, bathroom, and a little room for playing chess and card game.
This train was also in Warsaw.
10 april 2010 - The M61 002 at Budapest-Keleti engine shed.
This is the first photo of this locomotive on this site. The Hungarian NOHAB-GM Foundation purchased this loco in 2005 on a competitive bidding, against iron scrap traders and waste processing companies.
The loco consists of only the chassis and bogies.
The chassis is empty, because The MÁV Nostalgia Ltd taken out almost all usable parts before selling.
This loco acts as a spare parts resource for the M61 010, wich is the another NOHAB of the Foundation.
