25 september 2010 - Warrington Latchford. Class 70 will take empty coal hoppers train back from Fiddlers Ferry to Garston. On right hand side stands 66545 with loaded hoppers waiting for depart to power station.

4 september 2010 - New Freightliner's toy crosses Warrington Bank Quay station. Class 70 hauls Fiddlers Ferry Power Station-Garston empty coal hoppers freight. Operator has 6 locomotives of this type, which had been built by General Electric in Pennsylvania, and delivered to UK in autumn 2009. Freightliner ordered 30 locos, the next 6 should appear in UK in autumn 2010. Class 70 is fitted with dynamic electronic air brakes, weight 129 tonnes, and has GE P616 V16 engine (2750 kW). The first test trains has unveiled twice the acceleration with same load, than achieved by a class 66. New GE loco works mainly coal freights, sometimes intermodal.
